On August 9th you are going to start writing a guided essay on the following question:
“Why did war break out in Europe in 1939?”
- Use the handout to guide your writing. Write the essay on a separate sheet of paper.
- You can use the periods of August 9th and August 14th.
- On August 14th you will be asked to submit your work.
When you finish, you will work on a worksheet on the Consequences of the Failure of the League of Nations. You can complete this worksheet in pairs with the person sitting next to you.
